Never used it, but have heard that it works really well.
From my understanding its supposed to fill the pores of the aluminum and keep it from oxidizing. I think it basically just goes away, its not really a coating per-se, so it shouldn't flake/peel.
I'd like to know more about it as well, because its not all that cheap for the "starter kit".
