your thoughts on mixed tire sizes

fixing to buy a set of bfg KDW tires and am thinking about mixing the tire sizes as in 255's front and 285's rear. what are the pros/ cons about this setup. not concerned about not being to rotate as this is only a weekend driver and won't see many miles. on stock wheels, chrome 04 cobras. thanks in advance, richard

make sure the overall height of both tires are the same or your ABS and traction control will freak out.

I've got the KDWs - 295/35/18 in back; 265/35/18 in front - work great.

im running 315 bfg drags in back and 255 kdw2s in front... no problems.


Only issue you would have is not being able to rotate the tires..... but im not worried about that since I runs DRs out back

If you are into handling, the car will push more with smaller tires up front. Other than that, not a big deal and it seems like most folks are going with staggered wheel and tires sizes on Stangs these days.
