I'm thinking about getting some 18 inch anthracite FR500's. Right now I have 17x9 inch 2003 chromies around and I was planning on swapping the rear for 10.5. So my first question is should I stay with 17's or go 18's. The only reason I would go for the 18's is for the FR500's. Second question is by looking at the pic below do you think theres enough room for 18's, my car is lowered but I do not know how much.

Go with the 18s they look much better,IMO.you will be ok just get 35 series tire.

Wheel diameter has absolutely nothing to do with fitment (to a degree). It's the tire aspect ratio and associated section width that you need to be concerned with. Just make sure the tire OD remains ~26" and you don't have to worry.

That being said, 18s look a little better but cost a lot more to cover. That's why I'm still on 17s. It's one of those personal choices that depends on your individual justification and preference.
