Your Opinion Please, New Whipple or GT500

I also ran this same question threw my head before i ordered my whipple! i just couldnt bail out on all the mods i already had on my cobra! and i wont pay dealer mark up on any new car! ( complete BS) I have heard rumors of 10k-30k mark up on the new shelbys! they are going to be rich boys toys if this is true! my cobra books for around 26k and i got 10k+ in mods and i still get just as excited driving it today as i did the first day i bought it! i will look for a used shelby in 3-5 years once the cobra is paid off! by the way! my new whipple is just what the doctor ordered!

The logical thing to do would be buy a C5 Z06 or C6 coupe. Same power, 500lbs lighter, tight chassis. Assuming you can't afford a new Z06.

I will probobly buy a '06 'vette coupe in a year or two.

"Uh" no and I do have a family, in some cases I drive the family around. Even if I did not have a family I would still NOT purchase a Vette. :nono: If I wanted a Vette I would sell the Saleen, but Cobra for a Vette no way. More fun factor with a Cobra. C6Z06 would my be ok, that is out of my means though.
