I love my Borla cat back but I'm open to suggestions on headers and mid pipe,I need to run cats here..

With any luck alot of this will be a reality in 6 months. Engine is out of the car now. Making a decision on the shortblock this week.

Any guess's as to power output? I know alot hinges on getting the intake, but I'm going to push hard at wortk and make it happen.

I have already done some nice mods like Fikse wheels, Goodyear GSD 3 tires, Griggs frame kit, Eibach springs and a Fluidyne radiator and currently I'm working on adding the following parts sooner or later: urithane front suspension bushings, X2 ball joints, Griggs Camber plates, Bilstien heavy duty shocks, aluminum rack bushings, bumpsteer kit, MM rear IRS grip box, Brembo grand turismo brake kit with the good F50 caliper (same system Ford uses on its FR500 race car that is kicking BMW and Porshe's ass in grand am racing!) McLeod twin disc clutch, D&D prepped Viper T56 trans, Metal matrix composite drive shaft, 4:10 gears, torsen T2 diff, diff cooler, C&R engine oil cooler, Canton oil pan, accusump, Vortech intercooled s trim tuner kit, 03 cobra fuel tank and pump JDM fuel system, Lightning 90MM maf, 60 pound Motronic injectors, Extrude hone stock intake and cylinder heads, FRPP cam kit, Federal Mogul bearings, 11 to 1 CP pistons, Dana perfect circle piston rings, Carrillo billet steel connecting rods with CAR SPS bolts, an ATI damper and anything else I forgot to mention.

My dream car, which I will hopefully buy and begin to build once I graduate this spring, is an 01 True Blue Cobra Vert. with:

Motor- Teksid block, 305ci Big Bore, fully billiet built with the best components.

Power Adder- Paxton Novi 2000, intercooled, 75-100 shot on top.

Drivetrain- Fuilly built T56, MGW shifter, DFX Cluth/Flywheel setup, aluminum driveshaft, built solid axle w/4.30's

Suspension- Full MM suspension setup (tubular) mainly for going straight, all of the chassis bracing (streetable cage)

Interior- Full weight, some kind of Recaros, autometer lunar gauges, 10th anny boot, knob and steering wheel

Exterior- Stock front bumper, 03 rear bumber w/SS inserts, Cobra RR hood, Fikse wheels with BFG's for the street and some Pro-stars with MT's for the track.

although I may want to paint it Sonic Blue too..either or. :coolman:

ideal setup

Buy an FFR Daytona coupe and tear apart the cobra for the parts I need and junk the rest. 500hp, 2,500lbs. Doesn't get any better.

Well $$$$ reality set in and I am going to stay with a stock bore,I did order Forged Diamond pistons and Manley rods from John at MP today though.

I think I am going to just get my '01 heads and intake ported...I just don't think the Fr500 heads are necessary for my application, that being said I am still getting the Cam Kit.

I want this car to be a reliable, fun car to rip-snort around in on the weekends. It'll likely never see a track so this should be plenty of power and fairly bullet proof.

What do you guys think?
