BUILDING a 2012 Boss 302 Mustang Engine - 93Coupe.com

It's looking like I'll be able to complete the short block for about $2600 and the complete engine for $6500ish. Some of you guys with 2011s could build one of these and sell your original motor - or just save it.

haha at first glance, I thought you where talking bout building a whole boss car! But now I see what you meant, and for OEM parts that are as good as they are, it isn't that expensive! I'll be sure to keep watching! Wanna see how this turns out!

Ive checked prices about 4 months ago, block appears to be 1100.00 where can i get it that cheap?

Rods and pistons look like they went up 150.00 misprint?

Crank, yup super cheap.

Damn that balancer and oil pan are cheap.

Question, is the auto and manual flywheel weighted the same, so what if someone bought these parts and wanted to use with a auto.

Ive always had my motors balanced with balancer and flywheel, auto vs stick, whats a guy to do?

Crank and rods are 850 everywhere else and 750 at Tousley so I don't think they went up.
