So after much google searching with no luck to my specific issue, I turn to you guys. So here is the low down...
Last year swapped a 99 cobra 4V in my 00GT. Swapped motor, engine harness, and ecu into my car. Ever since the swap I have not had a working speedo (all other gauges work fine). Ive tried replacing speed sensor, checked fuses, swapped to a 99 cobra gauge cluster, all ground wires are hooked up. I believe it has something to do with the PATS system in the car not being synched up. The pats system is disabled through my tune in order for the car to start.
So... to test if it is the PATS system that is the issue, I was going to reinstall my GT ecu on the stock GT tune to see if the speedo works (I know the car will run rich and like crap, but all i have to do is roll down a hill for a minute). But since I have the Cobra engine harness and not the GT harness, will the car still start?
