Disclaimer: I did a search on cams and couldn't quite come up with what I wanted.
Starting in November I plan to pull the motor and freshen it up top to bottom. While its down I plan to install a set of cams. I'm not interested in off the shelf cams but I will go with a set of custom grind cams. Now my question is for those who have gone with a custom grind, how much of the difference between OTS and CG specs? Basically I want to know I'm getting something that someone has put a little bit of R&R in. B/c we all know a shop wont give out specs till you pay for the cams, I don't want to get a copy of another manufacturer's cam(s). Any comparisons b/t stock, OFS, and CG on a particular car? Thanks for any help guys.
