'89 LX coupe

Mellow Yellow with black interior, originally Tropical Yellow with tan interior. I hate to sell this car, but it's sort of a luxury I can't afford at the moment. Willing to listen to serious offers, but don't need to sell it bad enough to get beat down on. This car looks and sounds amazing and drives great. Asking $9500

Engine:
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads with .600 lift dual valve springs

FTI custom cam
Probe / Twisted Wedge forged pistons (approx 11:1 compression) .030 over

Accufab 70mm throttle body
Pro-M 75mm mass air
balanced Motorsport 24 lb. injectors
Kirban AFPR
255 lph pump
head studs
ROL graphite head gaskets
underdrive pulleys
March adjuster

Exhaust:
Mac 1 5/8 long tubes

Spintech Sportsman 3" mufflers w/dumps

Drivetrain:
Tremec 3550
Spec stage 2 kevlar clutch
Pro 5.0 shifter

UPR triple hook quadrant
UPR clutch cable
Motorsport aluminum driveshaft
Motorsport 4:30 gears
'03 Cobra 31 spline diff

Chassis:
tubular subframe connectors
UPR double adjustable lower rear control arms
airbags in rear springs
4 cylinder front springs
S&W 6 point cage, welded in. Removable side bars
Granatelli caster/camber plates
Flaming River manual rack

Body:
Painted by previous owner, jambs and all - taken to almost bare metal, not a cheap-o job
3" cowl hood

Misc:
Auto Meter ultra-light gauges
MRC seats
Contour electric fans with both fans wired on separate circuits
Flaming river battery cutoff
rear mounted Optima red top battery
converted to black interior. OEM carpet, dash, door panels. A few dyed parts, mostly original black though. Just repaired ashtray lid (not shown in pics)
No A/C obviously, but heater core is hooked up, heat works

I drive this car a few days a week and if something breaks, I fix it. I would take it anywhere. This is not a "project car" I'm dumping on someone else. This is a true street/strip car - drive it to the track, run it and drive it back. Best ET on drag radials is 12.15 @ 113.2, should have 11s in it with a slick or better driver. Would be a great car to setup for nitrous - already has good pistons, head studs and the cage. If you're serious, text me at 804-873-2164. If anyone in the VA area is interested, I can bring it to the Performance Autosport open house this weekend.
