It just started today and it coded out as a PO306, "Cylinder 6 Misfire."

My thoughts are that it could be the cop, plug, a wire. OR it could be the plug has been blown out and the spark plug threads have been stripped.

Afterwork, i'm going to check cylinder 6 and see if the plug will tighten, hopefully it does and we can eliminate the "blown plug" diagnosis.

Your help is appreciated.

thanks.

oh yea, i'm assuming I can still drive it while being mindful of the situation, no?

not that anyone cares, but, here's an update....

I removed the cop cover and noticed right away, something wasn’t right. When my engine buildier said it probably blew the spark plug out, he wasn't kidding. The cop was blown to pieces and the spark plug is just sitting in there loose.

This apparently happens often enough for Ford to make a kit to re-tap/thread the spark plug hole and wah-la, $250 bucks later, it should be like new.

I'm still confused as to what could have caused this. I don't drive it hard at all.
