I was thinking about upgrading my exhaust to and xpipe and picking one of many muffler systems. Would an xpipe without cats cut out my low end torque because of the lack of back pressure. (Im not worried about passing inspection) What are the benefits of no cats besides its louder? My car is completely stock except 355 gears and im not going to upgrade the heads or add a blower in the future. I just want a more aggressive sound and add some HP but i like the low end power and dont want to sacrifice that. Thanks for the help.

I do not think it will hurt low end power enough that you'll ever notice as the 5.0 makes good torque anyways. You will pickup a little top end power. Running on o/r pipe will make you and the car smell like exhaust fume odor though if you run with the windows down.
