The amazing thing about C5 Vetts is how GM can charge so much money for a car with a cheap ass interior.:nonono: I bought my 01 Cobra brand new and I would never trade it for anything including a C5!

Good luck with your C5 search.

Hey guys, hate to bump up an old thread, but has anyone seen my old cobra? This car was my pride and joy, I built every square inch of this car and I was hopeing to find out who owns it now and possibly buy it back. If anyone knows about this car or has seen it please pm me! Thanks

It hasnt been that long, why dont you contact the person you sold it to? If you traded it in to a dealership your probably out of luck, privacy laws wont allow you to find that info.

It was a weird durg deal of a trade. Lol! I traded a guy for a C5 vette and he immediately traded my old cobra for a gto or something and I never found out who finally ended up with the car.

If you can dig up your vin, which probably can find on an old insurance card, or call your insurance company from that point in time, as them for a declarations page, it might take them a week or two to get it to you but you will have your vin. I believe with a vin you can go to the dmv and find info on it? Or pay for a carfax? It worked in the movie lol.
