Hello ... <IMG SRC="http://www.svtperformance.com/ubb/smilies/cwm11.gif" border=0> I am a Tbird owner, and driver. I gotta a 96LX 4.6, and have a few mods (K/N cone filter, March Pulleys, 70mm Throttle body and B&M shift selector). I love my car, but it still could use a lot of help. I am thinking of buying a chip ... Any suggestions?

Hey all,
Just wanted to stop by and say Hi! This is a cool site i havent gone through everything but im working on it.
Keep up the good work.

Boomer101 I replied to your post on TCCoA get a Inject Tech chip, Jerry knows everything about the tbird and chips for the tbird here is a list of things that his chip can do...

Raised part throttle shifts points about 700 rpm across the board
Raised WOT shift points a bit to shift at the top of the power curve
Increase tranny line pressure during shift to increase shift firmness/quickness
Modify "kick-down" shift schedule
Reduce tranny line pressure to "normal" after shift to prevent increased wear from high pressure during non-shift operation (most aftermarket chips increase pressure
all the time)
Modify torque converter lockup schedule to pass power through the tranny more efficiently (this trick generates about 14 additional rwhp!)
Advance timing to increase power output by about 10 hp
Make WOT high rpm fuel/air mixture a bit leaner to increase top end power
Reduce low speed cooling fan turn-on threshold to help engine run cooler
Dynamically change timing curve according to intake air temp to help prevent pinging in hot conditions
Increase redline rpm to about 6050 rpm
Increase speed limiter to approx 6000 driveshaft rpm (approx 130 mph with 3.73 gears, 150 mph with 3.27s)
Delete timing retard at throttle "tip-in"
Delete "comfort" TC unlock at AC compressor activation
Reduce amount of idle air available during "coasting" operation to increase engine braking

Sounds good... It's hard to find good performance parts sometimes that you can trust. I've sent off an email to Jerry to get info and pricing. I guess he should be able to answer any Questions I've got. I read your post on the TCCOA. Thanks for the info.

And the forum looks like a good one. C U Around.
