I'm looking for a 03/04 that has a built engine with either a Kenne Bell or Whipple on it, with supporting mods. Exterior damage (not like a wreck, but messed up paint and what not) and higher mileage will be considered. Clean interior is important. Coupes only.

Thanks!

Nah, I'd be pretty interested if yours was a twin screw, but I'm not interested in a turbo Cobra at the time. In a couple years I want to get a turbo'd mustang though.

By "built I'm assuming that you mean forged crank, rods and pistons? If you are interested mine came that way from the factory. I also have a spare disassembled 5.0 stroker short block it thats more your style.

Well, the crank and rods are strong, but as far as I'm aware, the weakness lies with the pistons (at the power levels a twin screw makes, piston life could become a valid concern, especially if the tune is questionable and if it has high miles(65k-120k).

My stock 01 Cobra was burning oil, about 1 quart per 4 months (or much less if I was doing some spirited driving on windy roads), not really abused and had 80k on it. I'm not worried so much about the chassis of a Cobra at high miles, I'm more worried about the reliability of the powertrain at that point.

I would not have the same concern really if I was hunting for a low mileage Cobra.

ive been kind of thinking of getting rid of my mysticrome cobra... built bottom end, diamond pistons, all arp hardware about 800 miles on it, true forge wheels, dyno 585 on pump gas, 650 on race gas. i have a laundry list of mods also car was in the augest 5.0 magazine.
