I picked up a locked X4 for $100 and sent it to SCT. For $150 they cleared it and upgraded the software. Worked perfectly. So you can save a little money picking up a locked/married tuner. Regardless, make sure to purchase a custom tune. I went with Shaun at AED. He’s the man.
