wtb 2.5l svtc block

i have had my svtc for about 5 months now and now it has a rod knock...i dont want to get rid of it so im going to try and rebuild the bottom end, im not really interested in doing a 3L swap, i like my car stock. Im located just out side of detroit...can someone please help me out!!!

You should read on powder metal rods, they're junk. I spun a connecting rod bearing a few months ago at 100k miles. Ended up with a 3.0L swap, the 2.5 is collecting dust here....

If you want to keep your 2.5 bottom end, you will need new connectings rods.
