That Hardcore Racing car is from Michigan here.
I did some work on their web site before. I was wondering where they went.
They just disappeared. Now I see why.
They were on Pinks once too.

I knew a guy here locally that got busted for selling drugs and they literally seized anything and everything that he owned...including a race car that was getting built at a shop ten hours away. That could be how the pro street car ended up there. More likely for tax evasion though.

Wasn't there a Cervini Mustang about like that in one of the mustang mags that was raided in a drug bust too not too long ago?

I know this thread is old, but I just noticed it...

The real story on this (or at least the one I was told by a guy at that storage yard) was that the owner of the company, Hardcore Racing" was accused of being involved in some kind of mortgage fraud. They said something like 50 million dollars or somewhere around there.

We bought the 3 lots of equipment that they sold including a dynojet, a DTS engine dyno, several air compressors, 4 lifts, and tons and tons of other equipment. 3 semi trailer loads in all.

They also sold off his complete machine shop as well. We ran 2nd on that auction...LOL!

Also, 4 large lots of parts inventory was sold off too. But someone removed all the really high dollar items before the auction. There weren't any blowers of any kind, not nitrous setups, no heads or carbs. Just mainly smaller items.

about as stupid as not reading a whole thread and seeing that it was seized by the FBI for the owner being involved in illegal mortgage activities?

I deserved that. I thought it was related to the guy who stole a shit load of high value cars and tried selling them.
