here's what I'm seein for the "good"

    high power with minimal boost
saying you have a turbo terminator
lining up to Vipers and ZO6's with confidence

here's what I see as possible "bad"

hard to tun in compared to blowers?
    High maintnence cost
    catless exhaust
sometimes no A/C depending on the kit I would assume.
    high initial cost

I think they are awesome, but seeing so many for sale kind of scares me
I also see a lot of kits coming off of terminators for sale? Are they a nightmare to keep running strong?

Anyways, I was just wondering if you guys regret going this deep into your 03/04 Cobras or is it heaven since. Thanks for your time.

hard to tun in compared to blowers? Greg at RET actually looks forward to tuning turbo setups. ROFL He's done quite a few of them.
    High maintnence cost Such as?
catless exhaust I already had a catless mid-pipe before my switch over to turbo.
sometimes no A/C depending on the kit I would assume. I have the HPP kit which allows you to still utilize the a/c.
high initial cost You've got to pay to play. :D

So I see you're turbo, is my price estimate close? how much boost for the numbers your running? 610/565. Do you still trust your car enough to pack it up and go on a highway trip?

High maintnance, as I hear of seals leaking oil, pumps to get the oil back to the pan failing, half of the ones I've seen on youtube look to burn oil, when shown from the back. And guessing that less than 5% of Cobra owners actually ever end up going turbo, there's quite a few turbo'd cars that people are trying to get rid of on these forums, and I see used turbo kits from time to time for sale too, maybe they're just upgrading to larger turbos, or maybe going back to a twin screw, I don't know, but I'd like to. And it seams that getting the bugs worked out seems to cause a whole story on these forums rather than just bolting on a big twin screw then posting up nice numbers a week later???

yes, I am piecing my kit together. I won't look back.

I had no maintenance on my last setup. the hellion kit allows you to put a bassani high flow cat in if you want and it allows you to use the AC as well and no cutting of the car for the single kit.

I actually just recently bought the kit. It's not even installed on my car yet. Those are my Whipple numbers on pump gas. I'm shooting for 680-700 RWHP with the twin 61's I have on pump and closer to 1000 RWHP on race gas. I'll be building the motor prior to doing a race gas tune though.

If you think you'll stop spending money on your car after you go turbo, you're WRONG!

LOL can't wait to get my built motor in and bigger turbos and shoot for the elite 4 digit power level!

A turbo terminator is an amazing thing, I would find it hard to believe anyone would say no to doing it again. It's a pain in the ass AND it's expensive, but the final product is AMAZING

had twin screw 2.2 kb, then twin 57mm setup from thp, now back to kb but a 2.8l this time. I would never do turbo's again.

I would do it again. I sold mine becuase It was paid for and I wanted to put the money towards other things(that could make me money) + get a z06 down the road. In no way was mine put up for sale becuase I disliked it. Honestly, sometimes I look back and wish I would have held on to it for a while longer. I tend to go through cars pretty quickly. I wouldn't hesitate buying another one. I would go tt this time around though.

Why twin over single, I don't want to hear faster spooling, cause I'm not buying it. I kind of like Hellions single kit as they claim no cutting of your car and you keep the A/C wich is imparative.

Why no turbos again? Huge pia? Just as much power with the big twin screw? Please elaborate as I'm actually considering taking this step, however, I'd have to sell my low milage 1963 galaxie with the origional 427/4 speed to do it, so in a way I want to hear that it isn't a good Idea but if it's insanely fast, cool, durable, and makes no sense not to then so be it.

Why is there always talk of losing your a/c when you go twin turbo?? What kit makes you lose your a/c? I still have mine and I have the HP kit and I thought you kept the a/c with both HPP and the Hellion TT kit so wtf???

i think it's all from older fox body kits. i know i've read where some say you lose ac. so i guess that just carried into people thinking that's how turbo setups were on newer stangs...

That is the only reason I would try twins out. Not that I disliked a big single. My car hauled ass I just would like to try something different if I bought another one. Hellion makes a hell of a kit either way you go. If you decide on a single just do a blow thru off the bat.
