Would different side wall height look funny? (opinion question here)

Not to many quality 305/35r20 manufactures out there. Plenty of 305/30r20s.

So the question is do you think it would look funny or odd with 2 different side wall heights? 35s in the front and 30s in the rear. I looked at pics online can I can hardly tell but I see a few negative comments on this subject. What do you think?

Thanks for your opinion

Sidewall on the fronts will be 4.2" with a total height of 28.4"
Sidewall of rears will be 3.6" with a total height of 27.2"

Pretty noticeable difference if you ask me.

Even if other people didn't I would know and it would drive me crazy. I can do bigger on rear but not the other way around.

If your going to run a staggered set up, more then likely your side wall height won't match. Look at the guys running big and littles or just 15" on the back, nothing wrong with it.

Vert, the issue I think most see is he is running the larger tire in the front, not the rear

Were running a 255/40/19 in the front and a 305/35/20 in the rear. The rear sidewall honestly is not off from the front one. Might not be helpful to you since we have 2 different rim sizes.

If you go narrow enough in the front a 35 wont be taller than a 30 in the rear. Look for tire overall diameter and compare

Exactly, depending on the tire width, a 35 series tire can be the exact same height and therefore the same sidewall size as a wider tire with 30.

Please read first post... 305/30 to 305/35. The 255 to 305 is night and day

We read it. We are offering advice to let him run the size he wants in the rear without having a shorter sidewall back there.

I'm looking at 305/35r20 for DD and best bet is MT street comp or the new nitto 555 (non R). I've been reading all morning and get mixed results though on if this will rub with the wheel I am getting but that's something to consider
