You made it sound as if we supplied the parts. ( I was not there when you came in the first time) so I told you that if we had supplied the parts that it would be covered under warranty 100%. However that was not the case, and I didn’t know it until I pulled your receipt and seen that you brought us the part to be installed. You see there was nothing wrong with the install the problem was actually the part you supplied or a current part that was already installed that we did not touch. remember you didn’t want to have us diagnose the problem so you asked on line that was your first mistake because no one can diagnose a problem correctly from the internet sorry to brake this to you. The next mistake is that you supplied your own parts ( this is just asking for problems because if there was a issue then you have no leg to stand on) oh and this is the best part. I think I was told by stage 3 that you actually had a bad clutch diaphragm that was previously installed by some other shop that we didn’t take apart but yet you feel compelled to blame PSR because you bought your own TOB/ when in fact the only blame that should be placed would be towards your self for bringing the parts and telling use to change only those parts that you brought… so in fact you miss diagnosed your own problem with the help of your internet friends and feel compelled to slam a shop that actually does top quality work on so many cars.
About2 bite I like how you edit all the negative stuff you have typed Lets tell your story. You went on line with a chirp problem and you asked all of your internet friends what would cause this problem and you came to the conclusion on your own that it was the TOB causing the noise, so you BOUGHT YOUR OWN PARTS BEFORE YOU CAME IN! and only wanted us to install YOUR SUPPLIED TOB. And you are up set because your supplied part still makes noise. Psr didn’t Diagnose your problem we only installed the parts you supplied, then you called and I talked to you. Here is the best part you were wanting us to take care of the work until I told you that you would have to cover the labor because you supplied the parts the first time because if it would have been a faulty part I could have gone back to our supplier and taken care of it however that was not the case here. Remember this is a small world and what goes around does come around. So I wish you the best of luck with stage 3 because im sure you will be righting something like this soon about them too. Here is an idea and I would like everyone to try this at home. Go to the grocery store and but a dozen of eggs then run down to IHOP and ask them to cook them for you see how far you get!! Same thing applies here. All you did was hurt you other mustang buddies that don’t have much money because PSR will no longer install customer supplied parts. No exceptions Trust me we would have rather not done the job. we have other people who like our work. Rule of thumb people. If you think you know what you are doing and buy your own parts and there is a problem with those parts you supplied could be defective or a part that was non related could cause your problems, how can you expect a shop to pay for your mistake?? Now if you take your car to a shop and tell them it is making a noise then that problem solely relies on that shop to make sure the issue is resolved. I could understand if the trans fell out or the starter fell off the car after the install of your own parts however, This was not an issue with the craftsman ship of the work it is a complaint the customers inability to understand how warranty’s work or what is being told to them. In both cases the work was done and it was done correctly. Nothing more Thanks Dan
