I live in Wilmette and I know there is atleast 5 or 6 other 03 cobra's right around me. I was at GLD last week, ran a traction limited 12.0. The muscle car show in Gurnee is pretty cool, a lot of nice cars were there last time I went.

From south: Take I-94 North till you get to Grand Ave (by six flags) take Grand Ave west. Make a right at the 2nd light and yu'll see mcdonalds on the right side corner.

Im thinking about it. FFW was kind of boring. Besides the racing are there other things to do and see like vendors or car shows etc????

I have yet to attend an NMRA event, but from what I have heard, they are better than the FFW Cordova event. Burn out contest, car show, dyno pulls, larger vendor area, etc. We will be there racing with both cars so we'll see how it goes. Joliet is a VERY nice facility (I went to an NHRA event there two years ago), so if nothing else, I am looking forward to running in an arena style dragstrip.
