Wiring up a Boost a Pump

I'm trying to tune and read that I need to wire up the BAP, pre-FPDM, not post FPDM. I spoke to the prior owner and he said that he wired it up post FPDM, as shown in the instructions from Kenne Bell.

I have the instructions but the instructions show a knob and a boost activated switch and my BAP doesn't have any of these. Also, I read that post-FPDM is the brown/pink wire but the wire that's cut is the green/yellow wire, which is pre-FPDM.

To further confuse me, I called KB tech support and they told me that their BAP's are no longer boost activated and run constantly at 17.5V and that is why they don't have a knob or a switch.

I took some pics. Can someone help me end my confusion?

Sorry for all the big pics. I'm trying to show as much detail as possible to try to make it easier to help me.

Thanks

I have this wiring diagram from KB but it doesn't have a relay on it like mine does

Also, mine doesn't have the knob or the pressure/boost switch. The line to the pressure/boost switch is tied and taped off.

Probably not much help, but I found an old pic of when I did the wire upgrade on my car and the relay was wired into that green/yellow wire. So the FPDM was getting 12vdc directly from the battery. I'd say your set up is pretty FPDM.

Thanks. I just found this thread so I'm going to go back into the trunk to check it out again.

I did this write up a long long time ago. Not sure if this has any information for you that could be of benefit.
