Just looked at a 95 Lincoln Mark VIII, 85,000 miles, good - fair condition, guy asking $3,100, seems pretty fair. I like the car, all seems in order, all maintenance records provided, etc.... However, is there anything about these cars that I am missing? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

Green99_SVT: Well, appreciate comment on the snow, but I have driven many rear wheel drive V-8s in the snow, and the Mustang fares worse than many, due to lighter weight and short wheelbase. I feel confident that the Mark VIII will be better (at least better than a Mustang), with longer wheel base and weighing 4,000 pounds. But, as in any rear wheel drive V-8 or bigger motor car, they all can be driven in the snow when driven respectfully and with care and caution.
