Window Tint Probs

I am a ford tech and this is a known problem by ford and they are still trying to figure out the fix they are going to use.For now we are replacing with the same belt moldings and just having the windows retinted. This is all covered under warranty so if anyone tells you otherwise they are crazy!!!

I've never heard of any aftermarket part being covered under warranty.

mine scratch the very first day, but lucky me I got mine tint at the dealer and it life time warranty so the dealer will install the weather striper and retint both windows again.

Where can I get this? My girls v6 was scratched and I need to fix her GT before I get it tinted.

How much more is it to get them tinted at a dealership vs a random shop??

Do the 2007 models have this problem? It *feels* like there felt on the main windows, but not the little back ones. (I was checking out an '07 vert yesterday.) Anyone know?

And if they didn't fix this, where are you getting the felt? What sort of adhesive? Etc.
