Will This Chip Work?

My buddy has this chip for sale he had it in a 2001 GT and i was thinking of buying it, Is this chip any good for custom tunning, will i be able to get a mail and order tune?

Black chips can be burned by a tuner with the software. Red chips can only take canned tunes. Mail order tunes are stoopid anyway.
