I wanna put either a bottle or boost my 5.0. Totally stock engine. Either a 150 shot or run about 6lbs of boost. I can buy the turbo kit for my car for 400 bucks and a zex kit for 500 brand new. What should I do?

You get what u pay for. A decent turbo will be 400 by itself not counting all the piping, bov, waste gate, etc. Your gunna be a lot happier but you'll spend about 2500 in an on3performance turbo kit, clutch, fuel and tune. Either way you go you'll need a clutch, fuel upgrades, and a tune ontop of your power adder.

For that money your better off finding a set of used GT40 heads/intake. I think that would be better then spraying on a stock motor. BTW how many miles are on your motor?

Spray comes on hard; shocks the engine. Boost comes on soft, but I haven't seen any turbo kit worth a darn, going for less than 2500.
Its a decent kit not sure what brand but its deff not from ebay!
