Hey guys. I was wondering if there will be a fitment issue with a 10 inch or 10.5 inch wheel on the front and rear of a 98 cobra? I know I may have to run rack limiters. I am looking at American Racing Torq Thrust 17s with approximately 6.8 inch of back spacing. Thanks for the help.

I tried 10.5 Cobras in the front of my 95 and had issues with the 315's hitting the fenders. I would have had to flair the fenders as rolling the would not have worked.

I run with several foxbodies on 10" wide wheels, so it's likely that they will fit, but not without modification.

The rack limiter would be a good idea, but in anything like a chicago-box or a turn-around you will kick yourself for not having that extra steering angle.

Have you just thought of rolling your fenders and shimming/spacing them so they provide more room?

Some of the guys in Evos, run 9-10" wide wheels by using spacers to shim out the fender or by running a 20mm wider fender. Shimming is obviously cheaper/easier.
