wideband placement with hellion...

So where is the best spot on a hellion kit to put the wideband? The shop who did my last tune put the bung right after the first double barrel pipe all the way under the car. I had thought that the best spot was right after turbo on the downpipe but im really not sure. I have my wideband hooked up to the current bung for now. Do you think its even showing the correct a/f? I was getting on it earlier and showed around 11.0.....:shrug:

put it in the downpipe. you can put it on the straight section(vertical) to kind of hide it. i put mine so it angles towards the driver headlight or that corner.

yup, mine's on the vertical part of the down pipe. based off of Jason's advice when i was doing the install :-D

mine is on the down pipe just after the bend.

You want it in the vertical part of the DP. Put it further away from the bend more towards the middle/bottom. You do not want it very close to the turbo.

Ok I am going to relocate it hopefully soon. But I saw another guy on a video that had the wideband in the same spot that mine is now...

well i think most companies recommend putting the sensor like 10-12" after the turbo. that would put you right on the downpipe...

You want it in the vertical part of the DP. Put it further away from the bend more towards the middle/bottom. You do not want it very close to the turbo.

thats about where mine is about half way down the pipe.
