I recently took my car to an exhaust shop to have the wideband O2 sensor welded in and they were hesitant on where to place it. Does anyone have a picture or can describe how they accomplished this with the stock H pipe? I'm thinking they can just cut the cover on the cat and install like it is in this picture (on the top rather than bottom), but wanted to see if there was a method others have used.
I know an aftermarket with high flow cats would be easier, but since I have already been told my car is borderline too loud for Massachusetts I would rather stick with the stock pipe for now.
