Why is a S650 so expensive? $81K for a 2025 Dark Horse (my rant)

Wait until they REALLY copy the Porsche business model and you need to have a buyers history of F150s and escapes to get put on the list to be able to order a mustang.
They already opened that door with the Willy wonka bullshit for GT500s and the social media cred to buy “fancy” fords. I’ve been calling this out since the start but most want to simp for Farley and co and accuse me of just being negative. It’s sad to see the demise of your favorite car brand in real time.

The people that own a 2017-23 Ford GT got first swing at a GTD.

What you mentioned makes it seem like Porsche holds to that standard on their base versions...that's not true.

Now, original owners of the 918 have a guaranteed allocation of ANY Porsche every year, as long as they keep their 918.

Wait a tune and cams and thats it for the gain??

Not even cams.....GHOST CAMS. The sound without the hassle of modding. lol
So, just a tune

And, wait there's more

For $1499.00, you can expect a 24hp* gain from a cold air intake and tune. (Tuning Device, Cold Air Kit)
*Vendors shop car results
Which in other words means, probably a 15hp gain because speed shops always inflate their numbers.

Not included with that $1499.99 would be the person who requires a shop to load the tune for them and dyno the car. So add at least another $500.00
