Why is a S650 so expensive? $81K for a 2025 Dark Horse (my rant)

OP might actually be Goose’s cousin. All this talk about his track prowess….I thought I was listening to Goose.
That is the meanest I have ever heard you be. Just WOW. If my grandma heard me say something like that she'd make me eat a soap sandwich.

I'd say for sure that my 2019 Mustang will be the best Mustang ever made (except for the GTD).

I am not done with the Ford Mustang. I hope Ford will produce a better Mustang while losing $20 Billion on the EV cars/one truck.

Ford should return to profits while paying the employees well. They can do it with a smarter team that makes the decisions.

I’ve yet to see a tuner put their new custom tune up against the car stock tune on E30.

They are really just tuning for throttle input lag and better shift scheduling at this point… Ford threw all the spark at it from the factory.

I have said this before in another of your crazy threads, the Dark Horse is not the flag ship for S650 (not counting GTD). There are more things coming. And yes, will be expensive, not GTD level, but more than the $81k you seem to be concerned about.....

If I had that money to spend on a car, I'd rather get a GT500 with a couple years and a couple of miles on it rather than a new Dark Horse.

I still think the GT350 R is one of the best looking mustangs ever made. I would take a used one over a dark horse any day assuming it was a 2019+.

the 20+ GT500 front end looks a lot better side by side

They've come down some recently!
They'd need to come down a lot more for me. Though I think if I actually wanted to get back into a classic I'd look for a base model. I might feel bad cutting up an original Boss doing what I'd want to do.

I was looking at a 13 2-3 years ago, and went with my Gt500...
.
Honestly.. I'd love to get a Boss 302, and may

I'm looking at 1970 models...
