Why is a S650 so expensive? $81K for a 2025 Dark Horse (my rant)

I just saw a 2025 Mustang Dark Horse for $81K (with the handling package).

I paid $53K for a 2019 Mustang GT350 with has more horsepower, grip, and less weight.

A Mustang Guy could buy a 2011 Mustang 5.0 for

And a 2010 Mustang GT for:

The old 4.6L was more expensive than the 5.0L Coyote.

I'd say most of you paid $400K+ for the GTD. Not me.

Why would I have any idea on the what "application" process is? I'd like one, could honesty buy one, but no real desire. Where the hell would I drive that thing in blue hair old lady USA? I already have a 03 I never drive.
