Who's going to win - Me vs 406 NA Cutlass

A "buddy" is pressuring me to run one of his coworkers that owns a NA 406 Cutlass. The paint job on this car is pristine which leads me to believe this guy did not go cheap on this 406. This "friend" of mine isn't giving me anymore information besides its a pump gas car on a 275 radial, and probably runs high 10s low 11s, which of course I am taking with a grain of salt. I know NA with a set of heads these cars can be monsters....

Any input?? (mods in my sig)

So many variables. What year cutlass? Do you know the approximate weight. What heads? Cam? What intake? Carb or EFI?

Well my 406 with not a lot of tuning went 10.68 @128

It went the best of 9.90.

If it's a set up radial G body, you'll probably be seeing taillights.

I would say its like a foxbody...... there are a bunch that are absolute garabge and falling apart.... but a lot that are very built. Hard to know without seeing it in person or knowing the parts it has.

Found out he is spraying from pictures - so my "friend" tried to slip a quick one past me. My car just ran a 10.2 on blower only, I think on spray if all things considered go well, my car is capable of 9.5-9.7 I feel like...I guess we will have to wait and see...it has been postponed until I finish my "testing".

Is this race on the street or at the track? On the street he may over power the tires on spray.
