Anyone done this yet and does it make any difference with power/sound? I heard that feeding a bent coathanger to catch the end of them and pulling while the exhaust is still warm will let them come out.

Let me know how it goes guys. I just spent 20 mins taking the air box snorkle off. It was easy as pie and a great free mod till I can get a CAI

They will come out, but it's going to take a lot more than a
bent coathanger!... I pulled mine prior to installing the Magnaflow.

It made a little difference in sound but little SOTP difference.

The Magnflow was a completely different story.

FYI. I used a SLIDE HAMMER attached to metal rod. I think these are spot welded in tne very end. They come out, but it takes A LOT of tugging and hammering.

Good question... A little louder with some load on the engine, but not much. At idle it was about the same. I was not really looking for a great power improvement with the Magnaflow, only a better sound. WHAT A SURPRISE!

First test drive I turn the corner, gave it about 3/4 throttle and smoked my 300 dollar a piece F1's for about 30 yards! It NEVER even thought of doing that stock.

The only engine mod I had at that time was a K&N with the silencer removed.

You have to get rid of the 2 inch pipes and Clog-fflers.
