Well... after 5 pages of that, I think I'll be sticking with my IRS. I wanted to do the swap for weight and reliablility but I also don't see the benefit of an even swap for a solid and having to spend more money to have it function to the level that my IRS already does (in the areas I'm concerned with.) I don't ever track my car and I enjoy a good handling, comfortable ride. Not saying that a solid can't be comfortable. I use to own a '01 GT and it rode fine, and now the cobra and she runs fine. Now it was some time since driving the GT so I won't sit here and say that one felt better than the other [because I honestly cant remember] but for my purpose, I cant really see why I would need to swap. Well, maybe I can... here's my question: I plan on spraying my car with a 100 shot, hoping to end up somewhere around 620-650hp and God knows how much torque [coming on progressively of course], so with that power, would I be risking breaking half shafts or whatever else? Its mainly going to be used for highway... I can't see myself needing it down low from a light.
