Since I'm trying to become fluent in Spanish, I'm forcing myself to listen to Salsa, Mambo, etc.

So,

Tito Nieves - El Culito del Pan (Christmas favorite)
Joseph Fonseca - La Planta Nueva (hilarious song)

LMFAO....now if you want to listen to some decent stuff in Spanish, then add the gypsy kings to that list. Their cover of Hotel California in Spanish is ****ing incredible

I like a lot of Rap/Hip Hop. Not the crap that plays in the radio, that's neither Rap or Hip Hop IMO. Mainly Old school/underground or newer underground stuff.

Whats your top 10? Heres mine:

1. DJ Premier - The Militia
2. Westside Connection - Westside Slaughterhouse
3. Method Man/Redman - 4 Seasons
4. NAS - NY State of Mind
5. Leaders of New School - Spontaneous
6. GZA - 4th Chamber
7. Jay Z - Dirt off your Shoulders
8. Run the Jewels - Get It
9. Killah Priest - Inner G
10. Roots - Dont Say Nothin'

Recent adds to my playlist:
Yo Gotti - King Shit
Styles of Beyond - Live at the BBQ
Lil Wayne - I Like the View from Here
Fabolous & Jada - I Pray
The Diplomats - Dipset Anthem
Timbos King/Masta Killa - Armoured Truck
GZA/RZA/Masta Killa - Fam Members Only

Dang, top ten is going to be tough. Here it goes in no particular order:

1. AZ - The Come Up
2. Gang Starr - Right Where you Stand
3. Souls Of Mischief - 93 'Til Infinity
4. Raekwon - Incarcerated Scarfaces
5. Mobb Deep - The whole "The Infamous" Album. I feel like I can fill out the whole top ten with just Mobb Deep songs from all their albums though.
6. Big L - The Enemy
7. AZ - The Format
8. Gang Starr - Mass Appeal
9. Pete Rock & C.L Smooth - Check It Out
10. Big L - Danger Zone (very dark lyrics)

I could go on and on. I didn't include any of my lesser know or underground stuff.
Da Blunted Crew - Stumblin
Wise Eyez - Deadly Calm
Jon Doe - Champagne
Stezo - Time Ta Blow Ya Mind
Bee Why - G.A.T.S.
Funkdoobiest- Dedicated
Ill Knob - A Beautiful Thing
Citizen Kane - Elements Of Mind
Smif-N-Wessun - Wrekonize
Smif-N-Wessun - Bucktown
Nujabes- Latitude (Feat. Five Deez) Very nostalgic song
Bee Why - The Boros (Philanthrope Remix)
Funkdoobiest - Rock On
Wildelux - The C-Syndrome
Cise Star- Adrift
CYNE - Running Water
RunC.T. & Artifacts - Art of Facts (RunC.T. Remix)
Thomas Prime & Tiff The Gift - Life
Breezewax - Missing You (ft. Ahnom)

I am forgetting a ton, but that's all I can remember without digging through my iTunes.

Some real classics in there. I have a eclectic taste in music, but for the life of me I can’t stand what passes for rap these days...

Just came out a month ago....pumped for the new album.

Haven't heard the new album yet. I've seen Slipknot four times and met a few of the members including Corey and a couple of the clowns. Their old stuff was incredible, but the last couple albums just dont have the same anger and heaviness.

No matter how you slice it though, 2 percussionists and 1 drummer makes for a unique sound. And watching it live is a great time, every time.

Surrounded by libetards.
New album not coming for a couple months, that's a song they released not too long ago. Their last couple haven't been as heavy but it's hard to match the aggression from MFKR, Slipknot, and the Iowa albums. Corey said this one is Iowa levels of heavy.....if he's right it shouldn't disappoint. And you're absolutely right....they're live shows are just ridiculous. I see them every time they come anywhere close.

I have the first press of their self titled album, signed by Corey and a couple others. We met them for a meet and greet. I handed him the album cover and Corey was pumped to see it and sign it.

That’s great stuff. DJ Quik is one of my favorites, he has a real mellow sound that’s different from everyone else.
