Newest favorite on my play list. Jompson Bros. southern rock starts out slow to cool riffs then closes mellow. They have several good songs!

Went back to old As I Lay Dying. Been listening to Shadows Are Security and "Reinvention" has always been one of my favorites from them.

Love this gem!
It will beat your ass to the ground, continue kicking you when you're down and then spit on you before walking away all bad ass!! lol True story though.

Music is one of the things that I can talk all day, so I'll do my best to not make this post too long. I'm on my way to 30 and I was raised on classic rock (for instance I think Floyd's Darkside of the Moon is the greatest album ever made).

I've been playing drums for over 15 years so I tend to keep a pretty wide variety of genres on deck. I listen to pretty much everything except EDM, country, and metal (too angry for me). From classical to funk to ska to classic rock to prog, a little bit of everything. But the stuff that gets me the most is a funky, driving bass line.

The standard rotation lately has been filled with Tool (waiting over 10years for their next album), Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Primus (only musicians and people that have done or do do serious drugs listen to them I think). Studying = Medeski, Martin, and Wood (awesome jazz trio) or any classical.

Danny Carey (Tool drummer) is an animal, absolute freak, and makes me want to drop the sticks "ok, that's it, he's done IT; there's no point."

I listen to the music waaaaaay more than the lyrics (I really only listen to the vocals for the tones/melodies and rhythms) but after really looking in to what Maynard has to say, holy sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit this dude is borderline genius and insanely deep.

Most played Tool song: 46 & 2 (I included the lyrics and meaning video so you can get a feel for what I'm talking about regarding his depth)

Most played Deftones song: Passenger (with Tool lead vocalist Maynard)

Most played Perfect Circle song: Outsider

Most played Primus song: Tommy the Cat

Huh....odd question. I don't know anymore.

I grew up as a teen in the late 90's. My favorite concerts were Deftones, Fear Factory, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Godsmack, Offspring, and Nine Inch Nails. I still love and revisit all those classic 90's albums.

...but I can hang out at a country bar just fine with friends.

But at home, I do enjoy Mr Suicide Sheep's mixes : MrSuicideSheep

and also the chill mixes by BLUME : BLUME
