I had a 2004 750 GSXR and really loved it. I got to comfortable and rode to fast as most people do on sport bikes. I friend that I rode with had a bad accident on his Ducati in a two lane reducing radius turn. He was going to fast thought he was going to lay it down and hit the break. The bike stood up and he crossed over the opposite lane and hit a fence post on a barb wire fence. Thankfully he had on full gear (it saved his life) but he still got messed up pretty bad. That kind of got in my head and a few years later I though it's time to sell. The day I sold the bike I felt like I had gotten away with something. I have to say I love they way the sport bikes look and ride and I do miss it. If I had the money I would get one as a track use only.
