White Face Heater Control .. Too Dark ..

hey guys, I bought the "whitegauges.net" stick-on HVAC overlay. I lined it up correctly like instructions said and layed it over the OEM controls. But It's darker than night. Can't read anything at night. Should I peel off the stock one then put the white one on? If so will it lose the blue-green display?

I chose that brand because for one it was only $14 shipped. Two, it has black lettering in day time, looks real nice and matches the factory white cluster. Three, I am not into anything glowing or anything like that.

Has anyone used that particular brand? Or peeled the stocker off and had success? Thanks!

I've done that to a few mustangs that I've had in the past, and it's best if you do remove the factory one.

Cool, does it shine through the proper color if you remove the factory black overlay?

Usually...depends on the quality of it. I bought one before that was the titanium color...looked awesome during the day, but at night it looked like ass.
