Whenever I'm reversing or turning during parking I hear a noticeable thump. But its only one and then I don't hear it. Could it be the motor mounts?
If so how do I tighten them. I looked at them and they are very hidden.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Could be a multitude of things: loose shock, worn diff bushing, tie rot, etc. Find out where it is coming from and go from there.

I just changed my shocks and springs. The C stock plates are very tight. The shock nut was difficult to tighten but it has about 1 cm from the nut to the top of the bolt.

The tie rod is tight. I had the car in the air and kicked the tires to see if it would sway.

Since I just changed the shocks I was thinking that could be it. But I have completely dissasembled it and checked everything I am completely stumped.
