I just got the check additive message on my truck. I highly doubt my 60k coolant needs to be changed, but I still want to check it. Problem is I don't know which strips to use. The ones my buddy snagged from work were the wrong ones. I have the red coolant in my truck.
i copied this from the ford truck site where they were talking about it, unsure of accuracy as i haven't heard of this (i drive old junk lol) but here is the info: according to 1 of the other post page 49 and 50 in the manual talk about the strips needed:: Edit this post was from 2017 so take it with a grain of salt. Supposedly a additive V12 can be added so coolant is back in spec and this can be done 2x. From post: I couldn't figure out how to order the 328-0001 Retail Package from their web site, so I called them at 973-299-8237 and had them in few days. The whole thing cost $63.17 shipped. I anticipate being able to use these kits for two complete testing cycles.
