Motul 300V is excellent stuff! I'm leaning more towards the specs of this oil for the Shelby. =25&f[viscosity]=34"]Motul 300V 5W-40 - factory fill is 6 liters (6.4 quarts U.S.) It has the right viscosity at operating temps, excellent HT/HS, and great TBN. The specs are VERY close to Amsoil 10W-40 so your car will run great with it. I would reserve the use of 15W-50 Motul 300V for road racing only with sessions that are 20 minutes or greater. Motorcraft 5W-50 easily shear to a heavy 30 grade lubricant (cSt @ 100*C ~12.8) after only 2,000 miles. Motul 300V 5W-40 will not shear like that, and will maintain its viscosity (cSt @ 100*C 13.6) since it's a true synthetic base stock. For every day driving on the autobahn, opt for Motul 300V 5W-40 (OK for your winter environment too) For road racing sessions that call for WOT in long sessions (summer time only), opt for Motul 300V 15W-50
