Which is the better forced induction for an everyday driver turbo or s/c?? :dw:

well with turbo's you usually get a flip chip so you can switch it to a different mode when you're just puttin around. but then again with a centrifugal s/c it really won't kick in til later in the rpm range like around mid 4k rpm. if it's for your jeep though, you'll probably want a roots type. in that case ask the 03 guys. they should know plenty about that.

Well, I own both. I have to say that I think the sc is better for daily driving. The turbo is great for big power but is hard on the motor and on you due to spool/lag time. Light to light driving is alot more peaceful with the sc.

Unless you constantly brake boost, a roots-type s/c will give you the low-end torque daily drivers favor.
