Lots to do in Chicago. Museum of Science and Industry is recently updated and always being worked on. Just off of Lake Shore Drive. Field Museum is nice as well @patc84 - Cabrini green has been gone for many many years. Barrington eh? Nice area, very expensive..... Portillos is great, but they are always super busy. Lou's pizza is OK. Nothing to brag about. Starbucks just opened the largest store downtown. It is several floors with a lot of things to do. Water tower was redone and is a pretty sweet mall. Night time horse carriage rides through downtown is pretty sweet. Rosemount, just out of the city limits is pretty badass. Indoor skydiving, comedy clubs, good places to eat at, Rver's casino, etc. Download spothero and "ParkChicago". You'll thank me later. Lots of breweries downtown to check out and on the outskirts of the city limits as well Want good italian beef? Al's beef. Good pizza? Pequods. Be ready to wait, though. Hit me up if you need any other suggestions. Born and raised, llived in Lincoln Square/Ravenswood for 20ish years, then moved to the burbs. Still visit the city often, though.
