I did search and found info but could not come to a conclusion.
I am setting up an 01 cobra for the track.
I need to install a hood vent for better cooling as well as eliminate any high pressure areas under hood.
From my readings it appears that it needs to be in the front third to half way up hood. Any farther back and the pressure above hood is too high.
It also needs to be at least the same open area as my boxed in radiator inlet.
Are these assumptions correct?
Also for vent structure, does it need slats to direct flow?
Thanks
