Lol funny one. No because the adm is not from that manufacturer. And we all know it won’t be that cheap

What I was trying to point out was you determined what you would be willing to pay for the car ($90K) before the MSRP was announced. The buyer determines the price of the vehicle, they set the price they are willing to pay, regardless of the MSRP. If the price is too high, you walk, if the price is too low, you try to maintain your composure while you write the check, no dancing in front of the salesman.

I've said it before, Ford dealers are THE worst about ADMs. I refuse to pay it. If it means I don't get a car, so be it.
Yes I just do not understand this concept. 1 of my local ford dealers here has never or will never do adm on the shelby vehicles. If the current buyer in front of me backs out, then I will get my gt500 at msrp. We will see

When I bought my 13, there were two dealers in my area that were charging MSRP and had never charged over MSRP for any of their Shelby's. That all ended with the GT350. I checked with them and another 8 dealers and they're planning on at least a $20K ADM. So much for buying local.

Yea not this dealer, my friend has bought all of his svt or shelbys and was going to get the new one but decided to keep his 14 and bought a 18 hellcat. Was sick of waiting plus wanted auto. We both know the sales manager there and even told us we will never charge over. Really appreciate they do not. But it is very difficult to order since they are smaller and usually get 1 special vehicle order a year, lucky if they get 2.

These cars will be a dime a dozen like the 350s. Why pay over sticker?

Yea no doubt just like any Ford I have owned will drop, but Z06s drop even worse due to the saturated market. Yes the ZR1 will drop, but I do not expect to as much as Z06. 1 year run of this style, and under 2500 produced. Who knows how the mid engine will go over. I personally dont care for it, prefer current style. I would love to get the new GT500 over the ZR1 but I know it will not happen at the price it should be at. Do not mind paying if it is msrp is $90k, but add $30k greed money nah no way.

You can get a nice low mile c6 ZR1 for half price today.

Chevy made 4600 of them across all years.

What makes you think the new ZR1 won’t do exactly the same?

It will. Period.

2019 they have half of the older zr1 made, but again I never keep cars along to worry about “if” they become rare or whatever. I worry about the better financial position in regards to msrp. And I never said the zr1 will hold value, but it has to better than the z06

I'll agree with that. Should definitely be better than the z06.

It's very ambiguous, I agree.

I hate how some businesses word things like this. It's not just in the car business, it's everything. I hate how they can advertise online that you can buy a phone for $549...but after you take in to account a $200 mail in rebate that is store credit. I hate how car manufacturers advertise a $199 lease on a $35,000 vehicle....then you read the small print and that's before taxes and titling, with 10% down payment.

Transparency is the key to building healthy relationships, companies that don't follow that age old thought process, are really frustrating to me.

In total after tax? If so I think the assumed msrp is a little unrealistic for a loaded track pack car

Tax in DE is like 3.5%, and i dont want CF or track pack. Only tech, recaros, CF interior and black roof

Wow this reeks of arrogance.

Who's smarter the person who over pays with an adm or someone that gets it msrp or less?

depends what % of your income the total is, and when you get it. Arrogance is telling someone who works hard, that spending another 1 weeks pay to get a vehicle 9 months before the next guy is stupid.

Could not agree any more with this comment. Again some people have "more money than brains" it is not the other way around when it comes to justifying getting raped lol.

So, if the MSRP is $70K, why wouldn't you be willing to pay a $20K ADM?

because their ego wont let them say so on the internet. too much machismo to admit that they will pay the max they can afford, or wait years until they find one that fits their socialist morals. Everyone is capitalist when it suits them, and socialist when it doesnt

I agree..pretty arrogant. I’m certain I can afford to buy the 2020 at the guesstimate MSRP. I don’t need or want the car bad enough to be hosed on ADM.

this, simply this. its either a deal to both, or its not, regardless of what the piece of paper states.

one of my side business is belts. i buy them in bulk at roughly $3/ea, modify them for $10/ea ( fabric and labor) and sell them for $85/ea. And wouldnt ya know it. they sell, and fast. should the msrp be $35/ea simply because thats fair or "suggested"? Ooooor should it be dictated by the consumers and i will maximize my profits until they dont sell and i reduce the price incrementally until they do?

For an American their is only 1 correct answer to that ;)

ADM exist because of people like you. Something I wouldn't brag about . I work hard also just not willing to flush it down the toilet. I can act like an adult and curb the childish behaviour of "I want it now" for any cost. A smart man earns his money and get as much value from it. We all know the saying about a fool and his money....

You remind me of a guy who bought a gt350r and trailered it everywhere said it was going to be a collectors item paid over sticker for it too. You remind me of him. Absolutely no clue!
