I currently have some inexpensive $250 a piece tsw sochi’s in 18x9/10 weighing 22 and 24lbs. They look like a stock wheel +/- but...

I want to find:

•$500 or less a wheel preferably
•20lbs or less (crucial)
•18x9-10 front 18x11-12 rear. 275-285/35 front 325-335 rear and even with the rear fender (will roll them)
•nice metal/metallic face. I’d like a lighter metal shade vs black. Brushed aluminum or stainless steel looking or painted/coated medium silver etc. had black for years now and want to switch it up.
•excellent fitment and flow with the car. The off kilter stance of the front wheels being shy of flush with the fender, rear being well shy of flush currently, etc bug me.

Here’s what I’m working with now. It’s not horrible but it’s not great. I want it to flow much better. Car looks off right now.

800lbs elephant in the room is the tire/fender gap, thanks to 3.5” of ground clearance at my down pipes.

What wheels or wheel companies would you guys suggest?

Few more pics of current

^bugs me how vertical and flat the front wheel is.

13” brembo clears by 1/4” tops. Smh.

^i want to run bigger brakes too but these have a stupid inner ridge that eat up space. Basically stock rear brakes and they barely fit in this 18”.

I plan to do 14/13” conversion from full tilt boogie racing.

Wonkey stance. Front sit out ok but not great, rear are too tucked in. Needs like an extra inch out back and 1/4 inch up front imo.

Horrible screen cap from a drive by pull video... my rear tires look like 255’s...

Here are some stances and wheels I really like. Obviously I can’t drop my car this low but here’s what I’ve liked so far to look at

^very flush at both ends

^ imo 10/10 fitment. Lower and blah blah looks great ya but try driving a car with 2” of ground clearance. This is also about where my car sits. I just wish saleen wheels weren’t 30+ lbs each.

^ super clean, pricey 505a’s I think but super clean. Great wheel.

^love the rear width/fitment, front is also really good, but I love the rear.

Not sure if 500 a wheel will get what you want.

I know you’re putting down a ton of power so I’d go with a 16 or 17 in the rear and 1” bigger up front. That is if you’re staying IRS.

Big vote on something with some shine on a subdued color like silver. At a min a polished lip.

Brutal honesty please, how wonky are these wheels? I’m this close to selling them and throwing on saleens or fr500’s until I find a wheel I like. Sick of the odd figment/look. Car has enough power/suspension anyways.

Are you running a rear wheel spacer at all? If not that should fix the rear being tucked in issue for you.

In all honesty I think you are going to have a hard time finding wheels as light as you are asking unless you go with a more drag focused wheel. I think even CCW 18" wheels are going to be over your 20lb value. Wheel weight I am certain is directly tied to cost!

I love the really low stance look as well, but if you want to run a 28" tire out back for the track you will have issues and if you drive the car it sucks being that low! I know I raised mine up similar to yours. 2 finger gap up front and 2.5 or so out back. Scraping going into parking lots, exiting parkades and speed bumps was painful.

^good points, I’m currently running a rear ~1/2” of spacer and front 1/4” of spacer. I did some hunting all night (couldn’t sleep) and in all places found some awesome wheels on Americanmuscle!

I was looking up saleens ans fr500’s on their site to get an idea of weights and order some to get me by until I came up with a wheel, then I came across these forgestars for $~350-400 a wheel!

They’re very light at like 22lbs each, and well within my budget, but most importantly they fit really well.

I think those look good. Let us know what you end up getting for a rim width and offset.

I remember seeing someone on here post about ordering a different offset over what American muscle stocks and they fit very well. It was on the F14 and it was a silver Cobra.

If you can order them to avoid having to use a spacer that would be ideal in my mind.
