Hey all,

Looking at potentially buying a set of Vossen wheels for a really good price. A couple of them have very little curb rash. As in maybe about 1" or so on maybe 2-3 of the wheels. Without seeing them in person yet. Im just curious if anyone has had or knows of any good wheel repair shops in MA or RI?

if the rash is not deep , I have used various grits of sand paper ,to remove the rash.
If clear coated , I respray them , otherwise paint or powder coat .

This is what I'm looking at. They don't look bad. But again I'm gunna see them in person. If I can get the wheels for the price I want I have no issue getting the wheels fixed right.

Rimshine is what my dealership uses. I bent the shit out of one of my old wheels and it looked brand new when I got it back.

I used Rim Pro in Tewksbury once.

They did a good job, just took a lot longer than I expected, but it was a spare wheel so not a big

The rash can easily be blended in. That's easy. The harder part will be the color match.

^^^ I agree. Matching the color is going to be a challenge. You might have to re-finish the entire wheel. If you have the time, you could do repair/re-finish yourself. Just a thought.

Ended up pulling the trigger on the set. They're in really good shape for what they are. Only 1 wheel is in need of repair and it should only be minor. 2 are perfect and 1 is near perfect. I paid $700 with brand new Nitto Invos that basically won't fit my car. So I'll dismount those and mount up what I want.

Tire sizes that came with it are 245/35 and 255/30. It's a shame because they're brand new tires. Only like 1500 miles.
