Whats wrong??

Currently, has anyone found a weak link in the new cobras??

I would like to find out how many people are having problems.
Examples.. Halfshafts, Trans, Motor

To date, the worst common problem I beleive is the 80mph vibe.

So far on my car, the only problems I've had were..
1. The heater didn't work.
2. The dash lights didn't work.
3. The gasket under the wing started coming out.

Other than these my car has been great...

So far:

1. cruise control works intermittently
2. squeaky passenger seat/seatbelt against door
3. dreaded clunk
4. hideous window squeak
4.5 dangerously close to stalling, but has not (yet)

I think that about covers it.

My dirty laundry list is pretty long...

1. Un-sealed fog lights (took on water, condensation) - Fixed

2. Dreaded clunk - Not fixed; Dealer is aware of this problem.

3. Stalling problems - Not fixed; Dealer is aware of this problem.

4. Ticking engine (faint tick) - Not fixed; Dealer is aware of this.

5. Passenger side seat seam coming apart (suede) - Not fixed

6. Window squeak - Not fixed

7. 55-65 mph vibration - Not fixed; Dealer is aware of this problem.

8. Rear hub assemblies replaced (loud clicking noise when accelerating) - Fixed

9. The rear spoiler 'gasket' is exposed. - Fixed.

10. And the latest 'problem'... - I noticed that when I make
a 'sharp' right hand turn at medium speeds, the bottom of the front air dam scrapes the ground. I measured the distance between the top of the rim to the bottom of the front quarter panel and noticed that there is a (appx.) 1/4 inch difference between the passenger side vs. driver side (Driver side is lower). I assume this could be a defective spring or a shock that's a little low on gas. - Not fixed

Don't get me wrong... I love this car but, I'm a little disapointed that a $39K car has this many 'problems'. I have faith in Ford that eventually, they'll fix all these issues. I like to look at it this way - at least it dosen't pull to the right:shrug:

Only problems:

1. Engine ticks
2. Paint is all orange peel
3. Rubber sticking out under spoiler.

Otherwise everything works as advertised.

Would like to see:

1. Heated side mirrors
2. 1 button to make all the windows go down, or have the windows go down with the convertible top (convertible) - now I have to push 5 buttons to go top down - silly and archaic
3. More comfortable seats (lower to the floor would do the trick)
4. Much better paint


Other than that I love this car.
