I was wondering what is the quickest e.t from a mt-82 11-14 mustang 5.0 with JUST bolt-ons (engine never opened up) on 93 octane NO e85 or 100+ octane.

Just curious. I know those 6r80 cars are getting it but don't hear much about those with crappy mt-82 and your basic bolt-ons. I'm just curious.

JJ at woodbine motorsports went 10.87 @ 125.... I believe e85 though. Shaun at AED went I think 10.97 @ 122mph on e85 as well. Pretty sure those are the two only 10 second bolt on 6 speed coyote. As for 93 not sure.

I don't believe anyone has run in the 10's on 93 octane auto or manual (N/A just bolt ons)

My best N/A pass is 11.86 @ 115 mph with just O/R X pipe and AED tune on 93 octane. Im sure its not the fastest N/A car on 93 but I was very happy with such minimal mods and mt82.

I went 11.97 at 115 bone stock with a 1.71 and then pulled a 1.64 and missed third :)

I can go 115-116 no problem but can't get out of the 12's on Dr's with a best of 1.73 60ft. What tires were you running and what launch technique?

I have Mickey ET streets 275-50-15 now but it's too hot now to run any pb. I ran those times in march or April with Mickey Thompson ET street 305-35-18's. I just do a second gear burnout and a quick slip to almost a dump at 4-4500 rpm and cut 1.6x - 1.7x 60'. Best I can do with this 90+ degree weather is 12.09

I was able to go 11.0's multiple passes with my ported CJ intake setup and stock headers, on E85 though. My car was a M6 premium and weighed in at 3530 with me in it. DA was roughly sea level, about -200. With headers im sure 10's was easily reachable.

got a few guys with the mt-82 in the 9's. theres really nothing wrong with that tranny. if and when you need a clutch. swap to the 26 spline input. and a decent short throw shifter. and what ever other bolt on mods you wanna do you'll be just fine.

I was 11.6s@117 on 93, very few mods, on e85 went 11.4s @119

I'm convinced if I truly gutted out the car...because racecar style, than 10s would be no sweat

I currently hold a record with an N/A 5.0 on 93 Octane.

Mods I WILL tell people about

Gears
Full Exhaust
Email Tune
Intake

Mods I won't tell people about:

400LBS of weight reduction
Slicks/Skinnies
Full Drag Suspension

Average bottom 11's @ 130 N/A - STOCK MANIFOLD

I spin halfway down the track, though.

Oh, I run in -5,000 DA, in 50 Degree weather and against a bad headwind. Car is a DD that gets over 35 MPG.

/End Sarcasm.

There are a good amount of Legit runs of people on 93 running mid 11's, but, not with an Intake, Tune and Tire that is trapping 120+. Significant weight reduction is probably in place, most likely has suspension work, exhaust of some sort, etc.

01bluesnake is a great example of what these cars are capable of, even though he ran on E85, almost no one with his mods have run the same times. Most that do run faster, have more weight reduction, Headers and are running in mineshaft air and super cool weather.

I hope to get out to the track. I'll be happy with high 11's. Wouldn't be bad for a car that weighs nearly 4,000LBS.

I know of an auto car that runs 11.00's at 122 on 93. it has very little weight reduction, boss intake, exhaust, only bmr lowers with a relocation bracket, and a 5c.
tunes it himself with hptuners.
